Tramontana – extreme sports car
When it comes to extreme sports cars, you either love them or hate them. Although we are used to seeing the “classic”-looking sports cars, every once in a while a company will come out with a vehicle that’s so unique, it makes people wonder whether it should’ve even been made. Today we’ll take a look on Tramontana sports car.
A lot of us have dreamt of sitting behind the wheel of a racing car. They’re extremely fun to look at, fast and unique, which perhaps is why so many of us enjoy them so much. Tramontana is finally making it possible for racing car fans to make their dreams come true.
The Spanish-based supercar brand has designed a sports car that closely resembles an open wheel sports car. Although it has been around since 2005, when it was launched at the Geneva Motor Show, the Tramontana didn’t become available in the UK until late last year (tramontanacorp.com).
What makes the vehicle so special you may ask? Well, it’s road legal, which means that you can use the cars without any restrictions on Britain’s roads.
It includes a mid-mounted twin turbocharged Mercedes Benz 5.5 litre, V 12 engine, and it’s capable of reaching a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
The Tramontana will cost you a lot however as the UK model is reportedly priced at £300,000. Even if you have a crazy amount of money like that to spend don’t expect to have your Tramontana with you anytime soon. Only 12 are made per year and the average time it takes for one to be put together is around 6 months.
You can’t deny that the Tramontana is a fantastic and unique vehicle. Whether you personally like it or not, it’s still fascinating to see something so out of the box available on the market.
